This recreational conditioning program is designed to enhance core strength, motor planning/ coordination, balance and upper body strength for girls who have strong underlying motor skills and demonstrate the ability to focus, attend and follow directions. This unique program also infuses themes related to confidence, self acceptance, and embracing strengths while fostering friendships, teaching empowerment strategies and reducing anxiety, all through the context of EXERSHINEkids philosophy of using high intensity exercise as a change agent. Girls empowerment will challenge skills, strength and endurance in a fun, safe and supportive environment.

*Please note, if your child requires 1:1 therapist support for successful participation in a therapeutic setting with peers, please email Amy@kidshine-ot.com.
*This class is held mostly indoors in our 1600 sq. ft. bootcamp room.

Emily is a licensed and registered Occupational Therapist who received her master’s degree in Occupational Therapy in 2022, from American International College in Springfield, MA. She gained clinical experience working with children with ADD, ADHD, SPD, ASD, and a variety of other diagnoses. She has her bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology and considers fitness a passion. Emily is enthusiastic about incorporating the use of therapeutic exercise and movement in her treatment sessions to help bring confidence and success to children and their families. 

In her free time, Emily enjoys exercising, playing with her dog, hiking, and spending time with friends and family.
