Service Description

This therapeutic program is designed for school aged children who benefit from support for executive functioning skills such as organizational skills, sequencing, time management and problem solving. These skills and other EF enhancing strategies are interwoven within physical activity and exercise-based challenges to enhance the mind- body connection and to harness the increased attention that occurs when children are immersed in movement. Peers work together as a team to complete group physical challenges and obstacle courses, and of course have fun! Children are given home challenges to carry over EF skills practiced in the group. *Please note, if your child requires 1:1 therapist support for successful participation in a therapeutic setting with peers, please email Amy@kidshine-ot.com. *This session does include a makeup week, which will be held the week of 12/25.
